WHAT DOES A CAMPOUT WEEKEND LOOK LIKE?
There's a schedule. We just don't pretend the weekend always listens to it.
ARRIVAL DAY SET UP CAMP. FIND YOUR PEOPLE. Get settled, meet your neighbors, figure out where everything is, grab a drink, and let camp mode take over.
DAYTIME EAT. PLAY. SWIM. WANDER. Breakfast, games, pool time, social activities, camp visits, random conversations and plenty of doing absolutely nothing.
EVENING THE ENERGY STARTS TO CHANGE. Dinner, music, outfits, flirting, games, room or campsite visits, and everybody slowly figuring out where the night is going.
AFTER DARK THIS IS WHERE THE STORIES COME FROM. Campfires, adult spaces, private campsites, spontaneous play, conversations under the stars, and whatever consensual trouble people find themselves in.
THE NEXT MORNING COFFEE. STORIES. "DID THAT REALLY HAPPEN?" Grab breakfast, compare notes, laugh about last night, and somehow start doing it all over again.

What kind of camping is available?
Camping options vary by event and venue. Expect a mix of tents, campers and RVs where the site allows.

Are there hookups?
Do not assume traditional RV hookups unless the event listing says so. Some campouts may be largely or entirely off-grid.

Water arrangements vary by venue. Bring plenty of drinking water for yourselves even when other water is available onsite.

The weekend can hit harder after you get home.
After an intense weekend of people, connection, excitement, little sleep, and constant stimulation, some people experience a noticeable emotional drop.
You may feel tired, quiet, emotional, sad that it's over, or just strangely off.
Hydrate. Eat. Sleep. Snuggle somebody. Talk about the weekend. Give yourselves a little time to come back down.

WHO CAN ATTEND?
Friends of Ellis welcomes couples and single women. We do not currently offer memberships for single men. Sponsored Male attendance may be available at select campouts. All in-person FoE events are 21+.
Ticket types, campsite requirements, arrival times and venue rules may vary by event. Always read the individual campout listing before purchasing.
