SO... WHAT'S A MEET & GREET?
Pretty much exactly what it sounds like. It's a casual Lifestyle social where you can meet the people behind the profiles and become part of the community without jumping straight into the deep end.

SHOW UP

Grab a drink, settle in, look around, and get comfortable. You don't need an agenda.

MEET PEOPLE

Introduce yourself, put faces to profiles, catch up with friends, and meet people you might actually click with.

FLIRT A LITTLE

Interested in somebody? Talk to them. Chemistry is a lot easier to figure out face-to-face than through a profile.

JUST HANG OUT

You don't need to be looking for anything. Plenty of people come simply to spend time with the community.

NEW? EXPERIENCED? SOMEWHERE IN BETWEEN?
Good. You're exactly who Meet & Greets are for.
01

THE CURIOUS

Maybe you've talked about swinging for months and still aren't sure whether it's for you. Come meet the community before deciding anything.

02

THE NEW

You've made the profile. You've done some reading. Now it's time to stop staring at usernames and actually meet some people.

03

THE REGULARS

This isn't beginner orientation. Established members come to reconnect, meet new people, flirt, laugh, and spend time with their friends.

You don't have to be ready to swing to meet swingers.
That's one of the reasons Meet & Greets exist.

Maybe you're curious. Maybe one of you is more comfortable than the other. Maybe you're both interested but have absolutely no idea what your boundaries are yet.

That's okay.

Come meet people. Ask questions. Watch how couples interact. See whether this community feels like somewhere you belong.

You don't owe anybody anything for showing up.
WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENS?
There's no speed dating. No partner swapping. No awkward circle where everyone has to explain why they're there. It's a social.

YOU CHECK IN

Arrive, get checked in, and get settled. If you're new and unsure where to start, let someone from FoE know.

PEOPLE TALK

That's really the heart of it. People grab drinks, move around the room, introduce friends, meet new members, tell stories, laugh, flirt, and catch up.

YOU FIND YOUR GROOVE

Some people work the whole room. Some find one couple and talk for an hour. Some arrive nervous and leave knowing half the place. There isn't a right way to do it.

THEN YOU DECIDE WHAT'S NEXT

Head home. Grab dinner. Exchange profile names. Make plans with somebody you met. Or, when Club Night follows the Meet & Greet, stick around and keep the evening going.

"BUT WE DON'T KNOW ANYONE."
Almost everybody here had a first night.
Walking through the door is usually the hardest part.
You don't need to be the most outgoing people in the room. Start small.

Say hello to somebody you've seen on the FoE website. Ask how long they've been around. Compliment someone's outfit. Ask about an upcoming event. Introduce yourselves to the FoE team.

And if you see somebody else standing there looking just as nervous as you?

Congratulations. You already have something in common.
BEFORE YOU WALK THROUGH THE DOOR
You can make your first Meet & Greet a lot easier before you ever leave home.
01

BUILD YOUR PROFILE

Add current photos and tell people something about yourselves. Give someone a reason to recognize you and say hello.

02

LOOK AROUND

Browse profiles and see who's attending. Recognizing even a couple of faces can make walking into the room much easier.

03

SAY HELLO EARLY

Message someone. Join the Discord conversation. Introduce yourselves online. Your first conversation doesn't have to happen at the event.

WHAT DO WE WEAR?
Don't overthink it.
Think casual date night.
Wear something you'd feel comfortable wearing while meeting friends for drinks.

Jeans and a nice shirt? Great. Dress? Great. Something a little sexier? Also great.

If the evening has a special theme, you'll find it on the individual event page. Otherwise, show up looking like yourselves.
AND THEN THE LIGHTS GO DOWN...
Some Meet & Greets are followed by FoE Nightclub. They're on the same evening, but they're separate experiences.

READY TO CALL IT A NIGHT?

Do it.

You came, met some people, and got a feel for the community. That's a successful Meet & Greet.

There is absolutely no expectation that you continue to another event.

WANT TO KEEP GOING?

When FoE Nightclub follows, the energy changes at 9 PM.

The lights drop, the DJ takes over, and the night shifts from casual social to dancing, flirting, and adult exploration.

EXPLORE FoE NIGHTCLUB
FRIENDLY. FLIRTY. RESPECTFUL.
Meet & Greets are social events, but the same FoE expectations around consent, boundaries, and respect apply here.

INTEREST ISN'T AN OBLIGATION

Someone talking with you doesn't mean they're interested in anything beyond the conversation. Flirt, communicate, and let mutual interest be mutual.

NO IS NORMAL

Not every connection clicks. A polite no should be easy to give and easy to receive.

PRIVACY MATTERS

Don't photograph, record, tag, out, or identify another attendee without permission.

WHO CAN ATTEND?
Friends of Ellis welcomes couples and single women. We do not currently offer memberships for single men. Sponsored Male attendance may be available at select events. All in-person FoE events are 21+.
Ticket types and attendance requirements may vary by event. Check the individual event listing before purchasing.
YOU CAN'T MEET YOUR PEOPLE FROM THE COUCH.
Come say hello.

You don't have to know where the Lifestyle is going to take you. You don't need experience. And you definitely don't need a plan for the night.

Sometimes the first step really is just meeting people.
